After the great success of the New Talents 2011 show, the White Gallery London reveals more British talents in bridalwear design this season. Nine promising designers presented their best creations during the British Talents Preview, including Hazaar of London, Naomi Neoh, Mia Mia among them.
A rather traditional but still fairy like feel glide through all the collections. Gorgeous fabrics, gentle chiffon, couture weight organza, soft silks… A very vast range of dreamy wedding gowns to fit any bride’s personality and dreams, from classic cuts to more dynamic lines. Some designers remained traditional with classic cuts and pearly tones while others took a more experimental approach with creative pattern cutting and the combination of gorgeous fabrics. For example, dresses from Madeline Isaac-James brought a modern twist to feminine silhouettes as well as Blue Bridalwear with their clean lines and retro touch. Other designers such as Naomi Neoh or Hollywood Dreams created gowns with a very glamorous and princess like dresses. Colours from blush pink, sage green to café crème, cornflour blue or lemon were introduced by Terry Fox or Madeline Isaac-James. Very fine detailings were carefully selected to highlight every dress: delicate laces, floral brocades, voile silk, tender tulle, Swarovski crystals marked every designer’s personal touch.
Romantic, classic but elegant and enchanting, bridalwear seems to have a very bright future from young British designers. Any bride would be spoilt for choice for her wedding gown at the White Gallery, finding the special dress to mark her special day.
