Chloe’s 60th Birthday

In celebration of Chloe’s 60th birthday, the fashion house has already kicked off a string of events that will dazzle their way through the winter months, New Years and into 2013.

Paris’ Palais de Tokyo art space played host to an exhibition in September in honour of the birthday, curated by Judith Clark, which aimed to showcase the brands uniqueness in its sixty year longevity, alongside 70 designs from previous creative directors of the house; of these designs, 16 will be reworked and re-launched to create an exclusive collection.  Upcoming events for the birthday celebrations include the unveiling of a new flagship store on Paris’ Rue Saint-Honore in November, as well as the release of a book next autumn; quite an exhaustive celebration schedule, Chloe.

Here, we take a look at the ever-stylish and all-encompassing femininity that is Chloe.

Jennifer Lawrence for Dior

Oscar nominated actress, Jennifer Lawrence has been announced as the new face of the iconic Miss Dior range for the legendary fashion house. Following in the footsteps of fellow Hollywood beauty, Mila Kunis who fronted the campaign for the past year, representing the eyewear and handbag lines.

After being spotted wearing several dresses from the luxury brand, including a gothic but glamorous tie dye floor length number from Raf Simons debut collection and being seated front row at the Dior couture collection last season it was only fitting The Hunger Games star would front the new season campaign.

This marks Lawrence’s first fashion collaboration with a luxury brand, no doubt with many to follow. But her fashion credentials seem to be on the rise after the blond actress was photographed for the cover of British Vogue this month.
