Mariam Najmi from Roshan presented a collection made up of western and eastern pretwear, which had some great pieces. However, her plus points are clearly in desigining formal wear. Her mehndi outfits with a yellow and green palette were a homage to all things Pakistani – the video montage of her childhood memories was an interesting touch. The highlights for us were the patchwork on the lenhnga’s with the bright and contrasting colour choices.
