Kelly Love is an Australian born, London based fashion designer who graduated from the Raffles Institute of Design in Sydney after working with another fashion designer – Sin Nakayamal -during her time in Japan. After completing her studies, Love expanded her wonderful catalogue of experience from a variety of different cultures by working with the prestigious couture label Baccini and Hill. There, she developed a taste for luxurious fabrics and precise tailoring which was apparent in her first collection ‘Beautiful Side of Everything’ which she launched at the New Generations show at the 2007 Australian Fashion Week.

Love’s AW12 Collection is entitled ‘Into The Woods’ inspired by, what she describes as, a journey into the romantic darkness of the Russian woods with rich, earthy colours, enticing textures and snippets of folk tales. A number of her garments have exotic wildflower prints over cotton tensels complimenting the high waisted cigarette pants. The labels iconic jumpsuits are constructed from a palette of blood red, nude, French navy and dusty blue while the signature sandwashed silk gives the collection a sumptuous feel.
