Stefano Pilati has barely left Yves Saint Laurent and they’ve already found the new creative director for the label. It was confirmed last week that Hedi Slimane is the new creative director for YSL, effective immediately. Slimane had a very successful run at Dior Homme from 2000 to 2007, launching the infamous “skinny” look for menswear. He has also stated he will continue with his photography. His first collection will be for the Resort wear in June.
