For all the people out there, that like TSC, are fascinated by McQueen’s collections but are not bold enough to wear the extravagant catwalk looks, Sarah Burton seem to have designed the diffusion collection especially for us.

Mixing classic shapes with contemporary materials, McQ’s 2012 pre-fall collection bring us back to what one of the greatest and most innovative styles of all time. With a Victorian gothic look, Burton explores the oscillation of good and evil, light and dark, happiness and sadness. Burton’s latest creations go from couture to ready to wear looks with simple but exquisitely detailed outfits.
The pieces feature trimmed tops with frills, full circle skirts and long sleeves from the Victorian era, with lush Elizabethan inspired fabrics and the nipped-in waist form the period.
