Day to day make up varies according to your personal taste, occasion, eye shape and skills. Who wouldn’t love to walk around rocking the perfect catwalk look? Unfortunately not all of us are gifted artists and can mix and match colours and shapes while looking stylish. This next season, however, is all about giving your make up a touch of blue.

Dark blue, water blue, navy, sapphire, electric, cobalt and as many more shades of blue that you can think of, have passed up and down Autumn/Winter catwalks, which devoted a whole eye shadow palette to the nuances of the colours of the seven seas and replaced the classic smoked eyes with vibrant metallic shades.
Moving on from the Spring/Summer natural glow, with smudged eyeliner, rosy cheeks and barely there lips, Autumn/Winter’s look is bursting with colourful eye shadows, fire truck red lipstick and intensely pink blushes. Highlight your facial features with vibrant shades and a metallic coat to turn heads on the season that’s yet to come.
Make-up artist advice:
Egg shaped eyes should concentrate on using medium shade in the eyes crease towards the lashes, darker shades around the eye crease and light shadow across the brow bone. Merge the colours upwards to get the ideal winter look.

Oval eyes will look wonderful with a light shadow redefining your eyes shape and giving you a refreshing but sexy look.
Small eyes can make use of pale shades on the brow bone towards the lashes and use a slightly darker shade just around the far side from the outer eye corner.
For that special extra touch of winter, why not dare to innovate your look by matching your blue eyes shadow with blue nail polish! Add a glorious glamour look to your outfits next season with an irresistible touch of your favourite shade of blue.
